Server-side code written in Python to store a list of my favorite movies, including box art imagery and a movie trailer URL. This data is then served to a web page using HTML and CSS allowing visitors to review these movies and watch the trailers.

Wired neopixel LEDs and switches in series for a giant switchboard game programmed in Arduino. Only certain switches would light their corresponding LEDs. When all correct switches were flipped, a winning chase sequence would occur.

Programmed the following game in Arduino. Wired up LEDs to reed switches, that light up when a magnetic chip is inserted in the correct location on the board. When the magnet is brought into close contact with the reed switch, the reeds pull together to complete the circuit and the LED lights up.

Debugged Arduino program and updated circuitry for music buzzer effects for this game influenced by the classic game 'Operation'. A hooped object is moved across a line maze. If the player can reach the end without touching the metal, they win! I built a theremin that was installed as a discractor piece when players are close to the end.

Magnetic Electric Door Lock

Wired up this magnetic electric door lock with the help of my engineer friend Brian McEvoy. It has a holding force of 600 lbs and locks whenever all four switches are in the correct on/off orientation. If one switch is incorrectly flipped, the circuit is deactivated.

Written in Python, this is based off of an older code-breaking game called Cows and Bulls. Players must guess the correct four-digit code to win. Their only feedback is in the form of 'Squids' and 'Aliens' that output different information on the correctness of their guess.

Developed a CherryPy web application that displays a list of sites and each site's up/down server status resulting from pinging and http requests. Users can add or delete a site, as well as upload an image icon. Settings are persistent from being backed by a sqlite3 database.

Our team entered the IOT Fuse hackathon with the goal of creating a mind-controlled robotic xylophone and we ended up making a robotic xylo- * ehem * "glockenspiel". Huge thanks to Brian McEvoy for creating the design and 3D printed mallet holders.

We hacked a star wars toy and visualized brainwaves with Node.js and D3! Our team won first place at the first all women's hackathon "Hack The Gap" in Minnesota.

We wrote a program in Processing allowed us to find an object's location in cartesian coordinates using a Kinect V1's RBG camera. It would then report it to a robot arm that would pick up the object.
